This blog is about me — or rather it’s about, “Why am I Here?” – not to be confused with, “What am I here for?”. Novel right. Actually it is. I mean there are many blogs where people give their observations and opinions about history and world events. There are also blogs which serve as journals chronicling the activities of individual lives. But there isn’t much out there that ties together history, religion and spirituality, myth and legend, conspiracy theory, philosophy and the notion of self. And that’s basically what this blog is about. Answering the essentialist question of “Why am I Here” by looking at humanity unfolding. So here… in my place, while I talk about myself — and how history, religion and spirituality, myth and legend, conspiracy theory, philosophy tie to me — maybe you can also discover your place in the continuity of the universe. After all, if we are all united by 6 degrees of separation, it makes perfect sense that my history would be yours too.
By the way. This project started at the beginning of time during the big bang, but culmanated more recently on Columbus Day when I had to email the job about why I would be working from home that day. And thusly, this almanac should really be read in that order starting with the Columbus Day entry.
